Learn About John Krause

Hello, I am John Krause, I am a local small business owner and a truly concerned citizen deciding to run for Florida’s First Congressional District in 2010. 

When I visited this area in November of 1989, I fell in love with the community and decided that the Gulf Coast and Pensacola was going to be my home. 

After arriving, I immediately took part in the community working with several citizen outreach programs. I met my beautiful wife, Valorie, whom I've been married to for 12 years now. 

My life has been truly blessed since moving to this area. I assisted in the Escambia County Jail under Chaplain Leggett, as well as conducted and held the ministry position at the old Keaten Rehab center off Davis Highway and the 90 & 9 Boys ranch under Reverend John Powell and Dr. Tim Davis. We also started the Upper Room Ministry Center  which was a program that accepted clients who successfully completed rehab and needed a place to start their lives over again.

I have also authored The Private Investigators Guide, a training manual for intern investigators while starting an investigation agency, which I continue to own and operate today. 

I was appointed to the P.I.R.S.A.C. Private Investigation, Recovery and Security Advisory Council in Tallahassee, on December 1, 2002. There, I worked closely with the Director John Russi and had the mandatory insurance for Private Investigation Agencies repealed from the statute. Also I traveled to Tallahassee, although NOT as a Lobbyist, to petition against Bills that would have hurt our industry.

Now, this brings me to the reason why I want to run for public office. With the current circumstances in our nation’s capital there is a need for a strong voice in leadership. I will be that voice for the people.

My belief is in smaller government, much like President Reagan's dream of accomplishing during his time as President.  I also believe in the tenants of the Constitution as well as the Contract with America. However, I feel as though some in Washington D.C. have forgotten where our country has come from.

Our party leadership has become very weak fighting with little ability and even less will to stop the legislative tyranny we are facing today.  In fact, the remaining Republicans in the House are the ones remaining from the Republican lot that started all of this wasteful spending and out of control deficits which set the precedent for the catastrophic financial scenario we see on our televisions today.  

Now, it is our turn to take back the government for the people. A new contract is the message. When elected, the only promise I will make is to work hard and be true to my voters and our nation.  

With this, I ask that you support my campaign with any donations you can afford and vote for me. Permit me to become our representative in the fight to take back a misguided government. Let me make that stance our forefathers adhered to: "Of the People, By the People and For the People".  I want to work for you, the People.  

Vote for me, John Krause, on August 24th, 2010 in the primary, and then in November 2010 for real leadership that will fight for YOU! The Young, the Older, the Unemployed.

To fight for repeal of any healthcare bill, and any bills that intrude into our lives.

Sponsor bills that will put the people back in charge of their lives and finances.

Make government more accountable by informing the constituents of everything going on to rally the people's voices.
